New home for my blings and baubles

It has been eight months since the move yet I still haven't got a place for all my accessories, and they are tucked in every nook and cranny of our present house... which makes dressing up and accessorizing quite tough since I cannot see them all, so I usually just pick up whatever is within arms reach...

Yesterday, I had the urge to organize them...

I simply used an IKEA dish rack/dryer that's lying around.

It looked like this before at our old rented flat [see post here]

and now, here it is!

A close-up of my Juicy Couture laptop bracelet! Cute!
I have it for four years! Love it!

Close-up of another Juicy charm bracelet...
I'm happy to see them all!

DIY necklace tutorial

As promised, here is the tutorial of the blue necklace that I wore here...

I started with 4 individual long strands of beads in different hues of blue
It is actually quite long, so
take two strands together and make a loop, making it 4 strands,
do it also with the other two
and then make a knot
then join the strands together to form the necklace and twist the strands a bit to see all of the colors and voila!

You got yourself a statement necklace!
You can also make it into bracelets
or into another necklace, very versatile huh?

DIY: Accessories organizer/display

After admitting to all of you how big of an accessories junkie I am in this post, I am now dealing with all the tangled mess that is my 'collection' and decided to do something about it -- ORGANIZE!

And after seeing some inspirations like these, i thought to myself 'how hard could that be?' My mind started working and sorting out some possible option for a jewelry organizer and I found this IKEA dish rack/dryer just lying around in our kitchen waiting to be put to good use!
I turned this...

...into this!

and these...
*drumroll please*
into this...

TA-DA!

I am just crossing my fingers that the adhesives I used will hold up well... it's doing such a fine job so far!

Spring-ready toes!

Disclaimer: As the title suggests, this post is loaded with photos of feet and toes... Be warned!

As a stay-at-home mom, i rarely get pedicures and when I do get one, it's DIY!

[Do I sound like I'm complaining? lol!]

And since it is very RARE, i have to document it when that happens! I'm vain like that!
DIY pedi

At least once in a while I want to give my feet and toes some pampering at a SPA,
[*hint hint* for hubby]
ooohhh, wouldn't that feel like heaven? I feel great already just thinking about it!

Mother's Day is just around the corner! [*wink*]
