WIW [New favorite - Stripes top]

Can I just say again that this is my favorite top at the moment? Although it's summer, I still love wearing it because it's sooo breezy  and light despite the longer sleeves... and just coz it's stripe! Can I also say that I love anything and everything stripes? It's so versatile, I can wear them with just about everything in my closet! So far, I've worn this top 4 times since I bought it and paired with boyfriend jeans, white skinnies, denim cut-offs and blue skinny jeans... I have plans of pairing them with a lace skirt for a more dress-up feel with pearl necklace maybe? And mint skinnies, white shorts, so excited!

This photo, according to the hubs should have been a reject since my right arm is missing (in the world of modelling or photography, maybe it's a no-no?) but I like this pic so it's here in the blog, (I am one stubborn wife!)

 These are my new shoes and my new favorite as of the moment, it gives me an additional 3 to 3 and a half inches of height but does not give me any pain or blisters at all!

Colored skinnies...

I went to the stores last Tuesday to see the latest offerings and displays... and since it's fall, there are lots of boots, cardigans, jackets and long-sleeved tunics, I was actually hoping I could still snag some spring/summer pieces which are usually discounted items... I did find some clog sandals and a couple of colored skinny pants [Update: see post] which I love!

So I googled for some inspiration on how to wear colored skinnies and here's what I found...

I learned that I can pair it with a white tank top

and top it with a nude blazer and matching shoes

and striped tops...

Lots of outfit possibilities! Can't wait to try them!
