New home for my blings and baubles

It has been eight months since the move yet I still haven't got a place for all my accessories, and they are tucked in every nook and cranny of our present house... which makes dressing up and accessorizing quite tough since I cannot see them all, so I usually just pick up whatever is within arms reach...

Yesterday, I had the urge to organize them...

I simply used an IKEA dish rack/dryer that's lying around.

It looked like this before at our old rented flat [see post here]

and now, here it is!

A close-up of my Juicy Couture laptop bracelet! Cute!
I have it for four years! Love it!

Close-up of another Juicy charm bracelet...
I'm happy to see them all!

Turquoise necklace

How absolutely gorgeous is this turquoise necklace?
I've been trying to snag one at H&M eversince the start of summer but despite going there a few times, I haven't been quite lucky...

J. Crew also came up with their version and I think I'm loving this color more, it's a lighter color than the one from H&M above and
it comes in other colors as well...

Totally 'bumps up' a simple tee...

What I Wore -- Date with the hubs

It was holiday for the hubs (and not for the kid) last July 1st, so what to do without a kid for a day?
Go out on a date!

We ate pizza and steak for lunch then we went to check out some gadgets for the home... and lastly, watched Charice perform on a giant tv at a home appliance store, complete with surround sound and comfy lounge chairs, nothing beats free entertainment!

What I wore:
Coral rompers
White H&M tee underneath
Aqua necklace
Aqua wedges

I love this aqua wedge also seen in this post, it looked a lot like this one that I'm digging
from here... Ain't the colors so very summer?

Easter Black

I have always associated spring and easter with bright dresses and florals and much as I want to pick something bright for Easter Sunday, I decided to get this black maxi because it was very slimming [which I really need -- I felt bigger than ever,
that is despite spending 4 hours a week at the gym...]
Nope, i didn't wear this at the church, it's too glam for church, i know...
So are maxis not for petites? As they make you look even shorter than you already are...  i don't really care! I love maxis!

this one is the 'church version' -- i put a white tee underneath =]

and check out the bling, as in major major bling!

My new loot --- a bib necklace

I have a confession to make...

I'm not much of a earring or bracelet wearer, but...

I am big on necklaces --- the statement kind...
when I see one, It kinda lures me into buying even if I already have a similar one...

i think the above necklace looks a lot like this one i own but did it stop me? Nah!

[with the whole outfit]

I was just wearing a white tee and skinny jeans and black blazer
and then the necklace to dress it up a notch!

[Notice that I have no other accessory on besides the necklace?
But I did put on my wedding ring and big watch before heading out...]

[I was also wearing this peeptoe booties =]

Make a statement!

Let your accessories do the talking for you!

To maximize the full potential of any outfit, it's important to accessorize. With statement-making jewelry everywhere, upping the glam-factor of your look is now as simple as throwing on a bib necklace over almost any top.
[Now, I don't remember where i got that!]

This necklace says a lot, right!

But it doesn't even have to talk,
it just stares right at ya! And then you fall in love, just like that!
