The white printed tank top was a 'just cause'/no occassion gift from the hubs, just 'cause he liked it and just 'cause he love me ;-) I'll keep him!

(it was from the girls' section at Zara!) Yes, I get my clothes from the kids' section ;-)

What I wore: Denim on denim...

This is the first time i ever tried the denim on denim look...

I saw this floral denim shirt a few days before my birthday and instantly thought, 'birthday gift to self'! Luv it!

Birthday loot!

This is a late post... I already had this ready for posting a month ago and suddenly clicked the discard button accidentally! I already typed a novel (I think!) I hate when that happens! But anyway, I'm giving this post another go...

It was my birthday last month and I got a quite a few loots, some of them gifts to self, some were birthday gifts from my two guys...

 If you know me well enough, you'll know that I'm a sucker for accessories!

Cuffs and bracelets in group are a local find, the mint necklace was a great find at H&M (on sale really cheap!), the layering necklaces are purchased separately at a local store and the black bib statement necklace was also purchased at a local accessories store I frequent...

Floral denim button-down top, love this! (I recently wore it denim on denim and it was cute!)

The snow globe was a gift from Gabe, the pearl earrings and the SHU UEMURA lash curlers were from the hubs (well, he initially was gonna buy me any shoes of my choice but I told him to buy me the shu uemura lash curlers instead =), and I just had to have 2 aviators from H&M, why not? It was my birthday remember?

Just how cute are these necklaces? I just love the bone-shaped necklace filled with blings, reminds me of my Britney love =)

I also couldn't leave behind the other one and so I got them both!

Wearings lately - Lace skirt and wedge booties

It's not easy to admit not having a model's body, I don't! And I am totally not claiming that I have... I certainly don't have gym-approved abs and toned-arms but I have learned to love my womanly curves, because I honestly think that if you love the way you look, you'll be happier!

If you've been a long-time reader of this blog, you'll know that I'm an accessory kinda' girl... I'd always find something to add to my outfit to make it visually interesting, and since it's now fall here - scarf season (tho the weather isn't much so) I added a couple of scarves - some of my birthday loot (teal/pink - left and green paisley - right) to my growing collection..

Dressing up for fall (Birthday outfit)

Dressing up for fall means outfit includes scarf and booties... It was my birthday yesterday and since my boys were at work and at school, I planned a solo trip to IKEA and this is what I wore...

What I've been wearing - White halter top

When i have something new, i tend to wear it repeatedly... Take this satiny white halter top for example, which is so breezy and comfy to wear when it's 30+degrees outside... I just added a scarf for a different look, it's perfect to pair with anything! (FYI: I have another one in green ;-)

What I've been wearing: Denim jacket for summer

Yes, you read that right... I've recently purchased a denim 3/4 jacket and I'm constantly wearing them... I know it's summer but the weather here is like fall, gray skies, gloomy and cool, just perfect for my jacket!

So far, I've worn it three times this week:

I wore it over my black tank dress with statement necklaces and cuffs...

I wore it over my short green summer dress (H&M)...

And over a maxi dress (which I'm lovin'!)...

Every Saturday afternoon, I try to make an effort to meet the hubs after work and squeeze in a few hours of quality 'couple time', just wandering the mall, shopping for merchandise for 'D SHOP, have dinner and coffee...
